My name is Eric Fisher, and thanks for checking out my website. Here you'll find ways to find me on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Youtube. You'll also stumble across some old-school video samples of my work, my resume, a few useful links, and a little more about me personally. There's also a guest book if you feel like sending along some feedback or just to say hello!
I've recently left The Weather Channel after several years covering National weather, and have taken up the post of Chief Meteorologist at WBZ-TV in Boston, MA. After covering breaking severe weather for TWC, NBC Nightly News, TODAY, MSNBC, and CNBC - I'll now be focusing on one of the most challenging forecasting markets in the country. Many headaches ahead, I am sure! But hey, nothing good is easy.
Previous work also includes WGGB-TV in Springfield, MA as their Morning Meteorologist, newscast Co-Anchor, and General Assignment Reporter. The emphasis of my reporting was on 'green' and environmental stories. I also Freelanced at WFXT-TV in Boston, MA as a Weekend Meteorologist for the better part of a year.
If needed, my Agent is Carol Leff of Headline Media Management. Please direct all career-related inquiries to her.
Hopefully you'll find everything you're looking for on this site. But if not, feel free to ask! My inbox is always open.
